Pitch development and coaching – $600
Most TV shows are bought at the pitch stage. Even if you choose to write the pilot script (which I highly recommend, especially for less established writers) you’re going to need to pitch it at some point. I work with you on shaping and refining your pitch, preparing a pitch deck and any audio or visual materials you plan to use during the pitch (these are very important, especially for online pitching), and coaching you on the actual presentation of the pitch. Some writers, especially those that come from a performing background, are more comfortable pitching than others. But everyone can get better. We are storytellers after all, and pitching is simply another form of storytelling.
This service includes two one hour pitch/coaching sessions and two rounds of detailed notes on your pitch deck. Additional sessions, if needed, can be scheduled at $150 per session
Pilot Script Analysis and Development – $800
If you don’t have a lot of prior TV experience you’re going to have to write the script. Even if you do, or if you initially plan to sell it as a pitch, it’s a great benefit to have the script written. We work on developing your pilot script, as well as a series overview. If people are interested in your script, they will inevitably want to know – So where does it go in series? The accompanying series document can make the difference between them wanting to pursue your project further or not.
This service includes two rounds of detailed notes on the script, and two rounds of detailed notes on the series document. The series document is different than a full series bible. We cover these distinctions in the next option.
Complete Pitch to Series Bible Comprehensive – $1,200
For writers that want to have a complete package, from pitch to pilot script to series bible (which goes into much more depth than a series doc) we go through the entire process, from shaping the idea into a pitch, creating a compelling pitch deck, developing the script and finally creating a series bible which lays out in detail where the show goes in series, character bios, themes, season by season overview and episode summaries.
All the services in the pitch and script services are included in this, as well as two rounds of notes on the series bible. If more work is needed, that can be negotiated on a case by case basis. My goal is always to see you sell your show, so I will work with you on the best way to get there.

No process would be complete without a plan for how to sell your project when it’s ready. Knowing how and where you see your show is something that informs every step of the process. So we discuss the specifics of the market, your show’s unique attributes and develop a tailor made plan for how best to package and position your show to maximize its chances of success.
